Happy Turkey Day, Part 2
Sam had the best time today at Gagie & Pa's. A crowd of people followed him wherever he was, making over his every move. He loved it! Sounds like someone else we know, doesn't it? Sam is a huge fan of turkey day.

New Trick
Sam's new trick - he likes to give you things. It may be his pacifier, his sock, the remote, Chloe's ball, whatever ... But he gets mad when you actually take it from him. Hilarious!

Happy Turkey Day, Part 1
Sam enjoyed his very first Thanksgiving today with Grand's family. He was quite the little entertainer, keeping everyone amused with his usual tricks - lots of growling, yelling and talking. He can't wait to do it all again on Thursday with Gagie & Pa!

Huge Day
Sam had such a huge day on Friday. We took a little family trip to Nashville. He had lunch in Centennial Park next to the Parthenon, and watched all the ducks and squirrels play. He loved it. Then we went to Green Hills and bought him his first pair of shoes. We actually went to the same store where Mom used to take me to buy my shoes. He did great! And then we went to Babies R Us to buy a new carseat. He's much too big for his infant seat, so we've now upgraded to the convertible style. It was his first time inside of a toy store, and he thoroughly enjoyed himself.
He had a little meltdown on the way home, but all I had to do was give him his new shoes to play with. He loves them. We then took him to Cookeville for his first dining experience at Logan's. It was rather loud in there, so Sam fit right in. He kept showing off, trying to get the little girl's attention that was sitting next to him. He's quite a fan of the ladies!

Playing in the Playpen
A little video of Sam having some fun in his playpen (sorry, it's a little dark). He just started using it this weekend, while Ash and I were trying to get some things done. He loves his "hardhat."

It's what time?!?
So time change with a baby is quite interesting. He woke up at 4:30 this morning, happy and playing in his bed. Yeah, it's going to be a very long day. Sorry I haven't posted much lately. Ash has worked every night this past week, so I've had my hands full with the little man.
On another note, I'd like to thank my adorable husband and Poppa & Nana Beth for my day of beauty. I had a manicure, pedicure, facial and massage. It was glorious! And another thank you to Gracie and Mimi for babysitting while I played. Sam had a wonderful time! The spa indulgences actually worked a little too well. I was way too relaxed to come home and keep up with Sam. I had to make a pot of coffee around 4:00 that afternoon. It was a fabulous gift, and I thank all of you!
That's all for now. I'll try to post some pictures of the Sam man later.
