The Zoo

Since the weather was so nice last Monday, we decided to take Sam to the Knoxville Zoo for the day. We had such a great time. He got to see all sorts of animals, including a 7-month-old baby chimp named George. Precious! Here's some video from part of our day. I'll have photos on grandsboy soon.

Busy Day Outside

Sam had such a busy day outside this morning. He had to:

Play on the playset




Give the dogs some sticks




Play golf




And dig with a shovel (which is really an oar Ash found at the end of our driveway)

Reading Glasses

Sam insisted on having his "reading" glasses this morning while reading his books. He's seen his grandparents and great-grandparents put on their glasses before reading to him, so he thinks he has to have them as well.
