Good Report

We got a good report from the doctor today at Sam's 12-month checkup. He now weighs 25 lbs, 10 oz and is a little over 31 inches long. Big boy! He's hitting all his age-appropriate milestones and is now cleared to eat anything and everything he can chew. So bring on the scrambled eggs and peanut butter! It's also time to start him on whole milk. Bye bye $20 formula! And we can switch his carseat around, so he can now face forward in the car. The little man is getting so big!

I wish I had more pictures/videos to post, but someone had a meltdown of epic proportions tonight. My gosh ... And the separation anxiety has begun. He cried when Ashley left yesterday morning to go to work, and he cried tonight when his Grand left. Good times ahead!

Sam has his one-year checkup tomorrow morning. I'll be sure to post how things go and what the doctor says.

Happy Birthday Grand!

We want to wish Grand a very happy birthday! I'd post a picture with this if I could, but the little man is fast asleep. We met Grand and Cynthia at iHop this morning for brunch. A certain little one-year-old devoured almost an entire pancake that was topped with bananas. I think we've found a new favorite!

Outdoor Fun

There are new pictures on grandsboy from today. We went outside and played with some new toys. Nanny's red wagon is a huge hit! Sam threw a fit when Ash stopped pulling him around in it. I had to distract him while Ash hid it out of sight. He also had fun playing with Poppa & Nana Beth's playset. That's all we got to so far. I'm sure all his other new toys will be just as fun and exciting!

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. What a special day! Sam is a very lucky little boy to have such a wonderful, loving family. We were thrilled to have everyone here with us to celebrate our adorable baby boy.

Sadness at NottaFarm

Chloe is missing. She went outside this morning to help us decorate for Sam's party, and we can't find her. We've looked all over. We have no idea where she is or what may have happened. We are heartbroken to say the least. We are trying our hardest to be excited about Sam's first birthday and upcoming party. It'll just be harder for us if you mention it, so please, let's just be happy and celebrate Sam's big day. We'll let you know if there's any news on Chloe.
