Pay close attention to the first of this video. You'll see Sam's new happy dance. He just wiggles all over. Hilarious!

Dinner Napkin
Who knew a dinner napkin could provide so much entertainment? (Sorry the video is blurry.)

Ok, so ...
Sam's Reading Corner
Sam has claimed the hall corner as his new reading nook. He likes to spread out all the books and lay in the middle of them. His favorites right now - "Where's My Nose?" and "The Very Busy Spider." We read them over and over and over ... until Mommy somehow "loses" the books and we have to move on to something else.

9 month stats
Sam had his 9-month checkup today, and only one of you got the poll question correct. The little man now weighs 22 pounds, 15 ounces and is 28.75 inches long. The doctor said everything seems great with him, and he's progressing exactly like he should. Yeah!
(By the way, our camera is messed up so that's why there's been a decrease in the amount of photos and videos recently. Sorry!)

9 months old
I seriously can't believe it! Sam is now nine months old, and he's simply the funniest person I know. I never thought anyone could top Ash for that honor, but his son takes after him completely. We just returned from a little getaway to Florida. He had a great time.
Sam updates:
• We're slowly introducing him to real food. We've started with cheerios. He's hilarious trying to pick them up, and get - and keep - them in his mouth. He's improving daily with that. He tried the Stage 3 baby food, which is thicker and chunkier, while in Florida. Let's just say that didn't go well at all. Here's a few photos from his introduction to cheerios.

• No more baby plastic tub for Sam! He had his first bath in the actual tub while in Florida and absolutely loved it. He loves being able to move around, splashing and kicking like crazy in the big tub. (Well, actually the tub in Florida is tiny but still, you know what I mean.)

• Sam got to play with five little puppies while we were in Florida. Our neighbors have 6-week-old miniature Schnauzer babies that are the cutest little things! They were much more enthused with Sam than he was with them. They loved climbing on him and kissing him. So sweet!

• His nine month checkup is on Thursday. How much do you think he weighs? Be sure to check back at the end of the week, and I'll let you know!
